Classics Club Spin Number: 1

I will be reading The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer (in the modern English, translated by Nevill Coghill) for Classics Club Spin #6. I know that this is a challenging work, but I am excited to read this one. Because it is a long poem, though, I better start reading now.

If you are participating in the Classics Club Spin, what book will you be reading?

  1. Canterbury Tales is a fun read! I’ve read excerpts for it for various English courses,

My spin book is Gone With the Wind, which is a reread for me. I’m looking forward to it!

    • I have neither read Gone With the Wind nor seen the film version of the story. The length of the book is daunting, but countless bloggers have recommended the work.
