Classics Spin Book

So, the spin number for the Classics Spin event is #20. Therefore, I will have to read Mrs. Dalloway by April 2. I enjoyed reading this work in high school, so I look forward to rereading it. Fellow clubbers, what book will you be reading?

    • I really do look forward to rereading it. Currently, I am up to my eyeballs in books though. I’m currently reading a historical fiction classic (Ivanhoe), a Christian classic (The Gospel and the Catholic Church), and a classic essay on art (Kandinsky’s Concerning the Spiritual in Art). I hope to get around to reading Mrs. Dalloway before April 2.

  1. I’m up to my eyeballs in books too, so I’m not sure when I’m going to finish my choice, The Seven Storey Mountain.

I just read Mrs. Dalloway last month and I enjoyed it but not as much as Woolf’s To The Lighthouse. Mrs. D. has lots of interesting themes/ideas happening in it and I probably missed some of them. Another re-read will be in order at a later date!

I hope you enjoy the book!
